Victor Velez joined Gonzalez Law Firm in 2012. He obtained his Certified Public Accountant degree in Bogota, Colombia in 1978. Mr. Velez began his career as an external auditor for the former Banco Uconal, a Cooperative Credit Union, where he remained for seven years. He later joined the Luker Chocolate Company, a chocolate manufacturer that provides chocolate as an ingredient and manufacture finished products for other brands, where he spent several years working as a Sales Manager for the entity. Upon relocating to the U.S., after a few years as a Loan Officer, Mr. Velez’s interest in the legal field led him to pursue legal studies, receiving a Paralegal degree in 2006.

At Gonzalez Law Firm, Mr. Velez handles all the legal support in the Bankruptcy department, where he has been an integral part of our team, assisting thousands of clients during a very difficult and challenging financial time in their lives. Mr. Velez’s background in accounting and banking has been an asset to the Gonzalez Law Firm team, and a key to the proper management and processing of bankruptcy petitions.
