Richard Ramos is a native of Colombia who relocated to the U.S. in 1980, a year after he had completed high school. Mr. Ramos became a Mortgage Broker in 1994, a position he held for four years. Subsequently, Mr. Ramos was hired by Chrysler Financial where, as a Senior Agent and Team Leader, he led a group of team members in the collection department, eventually becoming Supervisor in his department. In 2003, Ocwen Federal Bank employed Mr. Ramos as Collections Department Supervisor and Trainer. Mr. Ramos remained in the collections field until 2012.
Mr. Ramos’ educational background is diverse. In 2001, he received a Theology Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. Subsequently, he attended Barry University where he obtained a Degree in Psychology in 2012, and later obtained a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration, also from Barry University.
In 2018, Mr. Ramos became part of Gonzalez Law Firm’s team as a Paralegal. As a Case Manager, Mr. Ramos primarily the overall legal support the Social Security Disability Department, including intakes, client communications, medical updates and requests, medical updates for appeals, Social Security Administration communications, hearing scheduling, and overall client compliance with the disability process. Additionally, Mr. Ramos provides overall support to the other departments in the Firm, including the personal injury, immigration and bankruptcy Departments.
